Academics

The Interdepartmental Program in African American Studies administers the degree programs:undergraduate major with a concentration in a given department; graduate major with a terminal Masters degree; and the joint M.A./Law J.D. program. Students may also double major in African American Studies and in another UCLA department or they may have a minor in African American Studies.
